Barndoor feature and type:
They help create a 3-dimensional look to a lighting scheme by placing light in a specific area, or by keeping it away. The more leaves a barndoor set has, or the longer the leaves the more precisely the beam can be controlled.
.Black:Black surface.
.Specular:Gloss surface, 90% reflectance.
.Hammer:Winkle surface, 90% reflectance.
Gel frame:
It allows the mounting of different colored gels or scrims that will alter the light output of the fixture.
Honeycomb grid:
An Honeycomb grid provides the greatest control of spill of light; the spread of light will be determined by the density of the honeycomb mesh. Option of 10, 20, 40 and 60 degree.
Egg Crate:
An Egg Crate is plastic that narrows the spread of light beam, and alters the shape and intensity of the light output from your light fixture, unless specified otherwise; an egg crate mounted on a light fixture will limit the spread of light to 40° from the face of the fixture.
